Papa's Harvest

Did you know? "Papa" is a not a reference to a father but a shortened version of the scientific name for the poppy.
Papa's Harvest
Papa's Harvest is a spec project from my Peachtober prompt series. Poppy is the flower of opium, but instead I wanted to focus on the edible seed.
I created Papa's Harvest as a modern Eastern European style bakery because poppy seeds are a common ingredient in Eastern European cuisine.
The floral patterns and color palettes reflect this cultural region. The hand lettered "P" and modernized flower design is to give the feeling of a hand made but up scaled modern design.
The animated logo expresses the quick and fun feelings I want customers to associate with quick good natured service. I am really happy how Papa's came together.
